Alignment Shops - D_Eclipse9916 - 01-07-2006

Anyone know of any good alignment shops around the Harrisonburg area. I tried getting my alignment done today in tysons and this is what I get:

We checked out your car and there are a few things we need to do to your car...I was like, alright what?
Sway bar endlinks are loose
Tie Rods are bad

We can get the parts for you for 800. At that point I just started laughing. First of all, I know my passenger side endlink is loose as I have a rusted bolt and couldnt hold the endlink steady to get the bolt back on (I will take care of this once I get some nice endlinks in). I asked him in what way were my tie rods bad, he gave me some mumbling saying something I couldnt quite hear, so I beleive he was just bullshitting.

He told me steel was coming out of my front tires ( I TOLD HIM when I gave the keys to him, what a fucking idiot).

Anyway point being, I need to find a real alignment shop that wont try to dick me.

Not in Harrisonburg of course, but here in Charlottesville, I use "Bob's Wheel Alignment". They'll align anything that they can get on the rack, to your specs, no *dumb* questions asked. Highly recommended.

If you want to do this in NoVa, I took the integra up to Curry's in sterling - let me know if you want to go there, I can put you in touch with the guy I know that works there. It wont be cheap (probably $100) but it'll be done right.

I leave tomorrow thats why I cant do it NOVA. Maybe when I come back up. but im already worried that any day now my front tires are going to burst.

Driving around with cords showing probably isnt all that smart Wink I dont even do it, if its any indication.

LOL if you find any 225/40/18s let me know, im in desperation and dont feel like spending 300 dollars to get 2 tires to my door.

18's :!:

Get some stock wheels for winter driving Wink

I do. but tires are blown on my other 2 sets of rims...

Well if u need to get around, a set of used tires for the stock wheels might be the best idea.

i had my alignment done at Monroe with the Supra. There was a recommended alignment setting on the Supra forums for those who road race. I took the numbers in, gave them the keys to the car and said to get it as close as humanly possible and don't worry about anything else. I pretty much take all my business to them that I can't do myself, so they know me and didn't ask any questions :-D.
