British Touring Car Tonight! - G.Irish - 01-04-2006

- .RJ - 01-04-2006

- JohnC - 01-04-2006

I've got a backlog of BTCC and V8 Supercars and German Touring Car and tons of other stuff... I love my Tivo 8)

- G.Irish - 01-05-2006

Fokking A, it comes on at 12 am Pacific Sad

I hate you Speed Channel!

- Chris - 01-05-2006

yeah all the good shows are always early in the AM.

- Feersty - 01-05-2006

Wow I could never watch that during the week, much less the weekend.

- Dragon - 01-05-2006

Ahhhh, DVR service from Cox is a great thing.

- G.Irish - 01-05-2006

Hmm, I need to get MythTV up and running on my PC, if only I could figure out why my mobo won't recognize my HD :?

- Andy - 01-05-2006

A combination of TiVo/DVR and a Slingbox would be ideal. Record it and then watch it on the Metro.

- G.Irish - 01-05-2006

Slingbox is a DVR no? Besides Slingbox = $250, MythTV = free.

But shit, being able to broadcast TV from home when I was traveling would've been awesome, since there were very, very few hotels with Speed Channel.

- Andy - 01-05-2006

I was just checking out Myth TV. Seems to be pretty functional and would be a fun project.

Slingbox is a web-broadcaster. It takes in your TV signal and throws it on the interweb. It is a network admin's nightmare.

- Andy - 01-05-2006

It's also not DVR capable.

Slingbox looks pretty bad ass, but why is it a network admin's nightmare? They shouldnt have to support it..... the onus is on the end user to configure it.

- Mike - 01-05-2006

bandwidth...

- .RJ - 01-05-2006

no worse than lots of streaming video, bit torrent, p2p sharing, etc...

- Mike - 01-05-2006

yes it is, because people would leave it on all the time. all those that you mentioned are either illegal (read: not mainstream) or not constant.
