FS: 1990 Talon TSi AWD - Dave - 01-02-2006

Most of you know that I really don't enjoy this car. It is retarded fast, without question. It is also quite reliable and can get you around in pretty much any weather, despite the summer tires. However, the dynamics of the car just don't fit me very well and therefore I am selling it. For you guys, I am selling it pretty much at my cost.

MM price: $5000.00
General price (if you post this elsewhere): $5300.00
Price is negotiable
any seriously interested parties should contact me via email at 93anthracite@gmail.com

I am the 2nd owner of this car and I purchased it in 09/05; he bought it in August of 90, garage kept it for the time he owned it, and sold it to get an Evo 9. Car has been religously maintained and it shows. Although it isn't flawless, it is one of the cleanest and best looking 1st gen DSMs you will find, especially considering it has zero paint work and everything is original. I really don't know what to say to sell the car, as I really have only owned it for a short period of time and driving the car sold me, since I was looking for one. It has gone a best of 12.49 at 109 in the 1/4 mile. I am convinced it puts down a solid 300hp on pump gas at 18psi, and could be turned up to 23-24 psi on race gas (have not done this, based on previous owner). The cams that have been installed apparently really help out with the race gas in the car. Car comes with lots of maintenance records as well as numerous extra parts. This car has won numerous awards at the annual DSM Shootout. Tranny and diff have been recently serviced, has a new radiator, and this Talon has an oil cooler. I can give specifics on some other information if necessary and have a detailed log of all maintenance and work done on the car since I owned it.

SOOOOOLLLLDD this evening for $5100 to a local guy. Glad to have it gone. I'll miss the retarded acceleration, but I'll put the money to good use on something that is actually capable of turning with any kind of speed
