Our company doesn't do jack squat during the holidays so I've been slowly going crazy looking for things to do. So are any of you working stiffs doing anything or just roaming the forums?

I had five day weekend last week and a four day weekend this week. We don't have anything on the horizon until middle of January. Most of the higher ups have been on holiday since early last week and won't be back until next week. You guys are pretty lucky, the hardest work is no work I guess.

I have a report due to a client tomorrow. Sometimes it is hard because I need other people to correct my reports sometimes me getting work done is contingent on them, so it sucks in a sense. I always feel better after work if I had worked hard the whole day.

I finished up a major development project last week, and now I'm "working" on a design document for something completely different. Mostly just doing half-days this week, working from home 8)

yay got a new project... maybe i'll be here til 5. usually days are 630-8pm, but the boss is out so we don't have useless meetings and i can focus much better.

Well, I only work two shifts (part time) anyway, but yeah, I work my butt off. I worked in the burn ICU (not fun) on Christmas eve, and I'll be at work New Year's eve night shift.

The project ive been working on for the last 3 months is due tommorow, so needless to say this week has been hellish, between eveyone that I could ever possibly need to talk to being out of the office and the ones that are in being incompetent, im having a great week. Luckily I am waiting on my boss to finish a review so my deadline will probly be stretched a bit more - Feersty, i know exactly what you mean, so much of my work on this project has been compliling information from other people and it sucks when those people can't deliver on time

I worked christmas eve til 3p - 3am, christmas day til 3p - 2am, and the day before christmas 3 - 1am
Logged 72 hours the week of christmas, taking it a littleeasier this week
