in the past, many folks have expressed interest in a knowledge base. how about a wiki? everyone could add info, and it is nice how organic a wiki is... i have a feeling it'd grow pretty quickly.

if you computer nerds know how to set it up, it would be an awesome thing to have.

Make sure you add security to it. Most are left wide open and there are bots on the 'net that blow them away from time to time, but yea, might be a good idea.

I think it would be a great resource as well as a great way to interest new members. Though reading the Mike/Feersty feuds is also very entertaining.

I can take care of it myself - but I would like to recommendations on exactly which software to use, and how to lock it down sufficiently. I'm reminded of the CC.com wiki which seems to be under attack constantly. I'm not going to put anything up that requires a bunch of constant tending...

mediawiki.... i'll look in to security... i'm sure we can limit the admitted users somehow.
