I hate ice. My car is stuck there until next spring, or until it grows a front drive axle.

Have you seen his driveway though? You could be the best driver in the world and there's no way you'd make it halfway up that thing after an ice storm, and probably not even after a snow storm in that Benz.

no wonder you guys don't have exams tomorrow. I'm "glad" I just had rain driving home to Richmond tonight.

yeah it may be heavier, but he has something that both of you don't...torque  ...and low-end torque for that matter Tongue

i wish i had a garage too Aaron....

and then get plowed by some dumbass who really doesn't know how to drive.

last year Jen's dad parked his 'stang gt 'vert at the bottom of the neighborhood hill because of a freak ice storm that blew up and with the stang being rwd and heavy as hell, it had to stay at the bottom when her dad got home.

sure enough, despite being parked on the level part of the road at the bottom, and 20 FEET off the side of the road in a field, it was not only crashed into, but the tard at the wheel of the F150 that hit it managed to hit 3 out of 4 sides of the car.

slushboxes are easy as hell to drive in the snow

it's definitely not impossible, but my mom's 2.8 z3 was definitely not what i call easy to drive in the snow...it's kinda heavy, but the initial torque is what's tricky. And going up anything with an steep grade...ha, good luck.

Thanks Lee for adding insight to the situation. Mike, the problem is actually that I have to go up the driveway to get out. It's a very steep grade.

Anyways, I just wanted to show you guys the icing on my car.

But it's all good, my mom's ML430 is my mode of transportation while old man winter takes a icy dump on the area.

All the more reason to buy a Super Snowtard...

- bassmangrammy - 12-16-2005

Next year I'm going to have an SUV (old ML or Disco) commuter so my Benz doesn't have to sit in P-run. So all will be well.

I would love to have one of those things thought.
