I know i'm shooting high...but I'm in no hurry at all to sell it(if ever). It is'nt a bad truck at all, I just hate that it's so slow..great 4WD though. I'd probably trade it for an older-ish AWD car if the right one came along.

my dad used to have an '87 2 door 2.8L blazer and although it was slower than a morbidly obese senior citizen on a rascal, it was pretty much unstoppable. we yanked quite a few neighbors out of ditches with it in the snow :twisted:

Ah yeah..the 4.3's were a major improvement, and the 4.3 Vortecs even more than that. I havent managed to get it stuck yet, and I live out in the sticks. I took it up the mountain I live on on a logging trail, probably about a 25 - 30 degree angle or more and it did great. If it had about a 5,000 lb winch it'd be pretty unstoppable

oh..one other thing...if you pulled a turbo kit and chip off of a Cyclone/Typhoon that GM came out with, you could have yourself a boosted 4WD....

theres a One Lap Typhoon I've seen at summit that is crazy fast...
