- D_Eclipse9916 - 12-04-2005

oh I see, not gonna include me on there? I am on the worker's list. I would be interested in joining you guys on the way back to harrisonburg, if you guys are going back after the autocross.

- D_Eclipse9916 - 12-04-2005

I just got back and should be writing a paper, but ill procrastinate a lil more and get the pics up...

- PDenbigh - 12-04-2005

It was Goooooood.

Blew an alternator belt, but a trip to Advance Auto fixed that up. Good to see everyone there. Props to Lindsay for being the MM chic giving all the guys a serious run for their money (and whiping some of the guy's arses!)

Great looking pics.. Wish I could have made it. Let me guess.. the Corvette with R-compounds got FTD... those tires are HUGE

- ScottyB - 12-04-2005

cool pictures....i miss auto-xing

- Andy - 12-04-2005

Dave's GSX is crazy fast, borderline scary.

DJ had a corded tire so he couldn't even run but it great seeing everyone there.

The course was great, and the weather cooperated.

- getfast - 12-04-2005

HUGE THANKS for your help and participation today, everyone! It was a great event, a great end to a great season and soforth.

Nice pics! Except for the two with my ugly mug at the start line, hahahaha... and I see somebody found the bling shop and the wholesale exotic dealer on Broad Street as well

(For the record, 348's are the biggest piece of shit Ferraris ever made... and those particular ones are auction junk, but... I'd still hit it hahahaha)

Jon

Shhhhh its very close to the f355 spyder which is one of my favorite ferraris of all time. And yes I found that bling bling shop..

and yes that goddamn R-compound z06 probably had the best time. He always makes it look easy, but he is an excellent driver.

TWO reasons I couldnt drive. One I go to turn down my boost controllerand I look inside...and theres NO FUCKING BALL AND SPRING?!!! wtf, it disappeared.
Second I go to look at all my tries making sure pressure is good and one of my new pirellis basically burst open but was holding air...then damn cords were sticking out like I had studded tires..ima call up pirelli tomorrow and bitch them the fuck out and see if I can get a new tire...

Thanks again Jon for a good event, too bad I couldnt run, I tried one run but I never went past 20 percent throttle and 25 percent turning capability cuz I was scared of blowing up the tire/engine. Goddamnit..

- D_Eclipse9916 - 12-04-2005

PS- I have 5 megapixel images of all these pictures, plus I have a few semi-good res videos of a few of the guy's runs...

Andy Wrote:Dave's GSX is crazy fast, borderline scary.

When did dave get a GSX?

- Dave - 12-04-2005

I had an awesome time today. Terrific pictures DJ! The talon, although bloated and overpowered, felt better today than I thought it would. Didn't realize that I looked like an Explorer attacking an interstate offramp on some of those turns, but I can't say that I'm surprised. The turbo had a lot more lag than I expected, but the car was actually problem free the whole time. What was the FTD? Sorry, I didn't get to stick around and get to see everybody get thier runs in, hope everybody has as much fun as Lindsey and I did and can't wait for the road race and autoX seasons to start back up.
