AN fittings and SS lines help! - D_Eclipse9916 - 12-02-2005 Alright so I got my beautiful new afpr and install lines in and everything. So today I go to put it on and the line with the AN fittings.. SSOOOOOOOOO I do this for about half an hour before just flat out giving up. I am so fucking frustrated with this shitty ass line. I swear it just hates me. Can anyone help me attack this line inside of a fitting, I have cuts on my hand cause of it and just one of those things im getting frustrated.. Here is a picture..... [/img]
- PDenbigh - 12-02-2005 Do you live in Harrisonburg? If so, give me a call, 540-421-0200. Bring it to my garage, we'll have it done in 10 minutes. - Ginger - 12-02-2005 PDenbigh Wrote:Do you live in Harrisonburg? If so, give me a call, 540-421-0200. Then I realized I hadnt planned on where I Wanted to put it and so we didnt do the other line yet. - white_2kgt - 12-03-2005 I guess pete showed you the proper saw to use to cut the line?
- PDenbigh - 12-03-2005 Yeah, and I also showed him which way the fittings go on ;-) - JustinG - 12-03-2005 those things are an official pain in the ass, just think of doing a feed, return, oil lines to and from, etc.... that was by far the hardest part of my car build up... - D_Eclipse9916 - 12-03-2005 the oil feed lines werent a pain at all, but these just wouldnt flipping fit. You shoulda seen Peter shoving all his weight into it pushing back and forth with a vice....yeah and I tried it with my hands.... |
