He said he was gonig to bang out the 1/4 some more then plastic it but he needed to fix the support piece since Ford doesn't sell it seperate. Apparently it was pretty busted up. The front is ligned up perfect, actually better than it was stock. He thinks another week or two and I'll have it back unpainted.

nope, fixing mine. All damage was above frame rails, so he pulled the body back straight and fixed the 1/4.

Cage goes in sometime in January

4 month lead time, didn't want to wait that long, plus I fixed my front for less than $200 Wink

Yea, however it wasn't really going to save me that much weight. The bumpers and fenders are pretty light. All in all I was looking at saving about 10-15lbs, which isn't much...and you can't bang out fiberglass...

that's awesome Chad, especially since you were able to do it so cost-effectively. Did you ever decide what paint scheme you were going to go with?

I'm going to try and hold out for the red/black/white one. Not painting the car right now so we will see how long it stays like that and how big the paint budget grows before I get tired of pimping the multicolors

Looks like that guy did a good job of smoothing out that rear 1/4. Just gonna put filler in there before paint?

yea, that's the plan. When I saw it I thought he was done w/ it. He said the body guy was going to bang on it a bit more to smooth it out, before putting the plastic in it. Confused

Looks like he's doing some really good work... and the red black will be pimp - almost as pimp as the multicolor is now :-D
