It contains little microspheres of liquid resin / paint. When you scrath them, they open up, releasing the fresh paint which fils the scratch, then dries.

so it can only work once in a given area, once you pop the bubbles, that area is done, i guess its good if you lease your car, or just go through them quickly, i cant imagine it is cheap, and who wants to respray their car every 3 years

military vehicles have been using something similar for a long long time. it was only a matter of time before it made its way into the automotive industry. now i will sit back and wait for the transition of radar absorbing paint in world rally blue...

Every state except this one uses laser detectors...about the only way to get out of that is extreme tailgaiting...
