First of all, I would like to thank everyone for giving me a prize for the GT4 tournament. The only problem is, with my gift certificate, I am thinking of getting a set of Silverstar headlight bulbs on the Crossfire instead of more detailing supplies. Anyone agree to this or should I wait and maybe I could get HID's? FYI, the Crossfire has a projector-style headlamp (H7).

I have the Silverstars in my high, low and foglights. They're bright but they burn out too often. I personally wouldn't recommend them.

i'd also recommend against anything but a run of the mill halogen... get HIDs

That's so funny I just posted that tonight. Because as soon as I got in my car to drive to Ashburn to show it to a potential buyer, I saw that the fucking low beam headlight was out. FUCK silverstars! Don't buy em! I now have one working foglight too, and the foglight bulbs are retarded hard to change in my car.

Took me like 30 minutes to change the f*cking foglight bulbs on our WRX. I agree its much less convenient than it should be. And the owner's manual says "Take it to your nearest Subaru dealership" to change 'em.

mine burned out twice in two years with the civic. A great light bulb for light output though ($20/bulb).
HID's would be great, but they're $bling$. If you can spare the cash i'd do it.

What silverstars are you using? If you got them from autozone they are sylvania silverstars and are coated with blue and the silver on the tip to change the apperance of the light.
I have the actual Osram euro spec silverstars that have no coating and they are much brighter than my regular H1s. I am not 100% sure they make them in an H7...let me check.

he has an advanced auto gift certificate, thats why he brought up the subject. I personally would just buy a bunch of filters for my car cuz Walmart doesnt have the purolators...Then go over to walmart to get some cheap mobil1...

If you buy a pack of gum with it they give you the rest back in cash. As far as X-fire parts. There is a set of springs, and exhaust, and a few other small things out there for it from Mopar. I will check.

I realize what the certificate is for. He seemed to want to upgrade his lighting anyway and I thought I would give him some advice.

I might be interested in an exhaust system, headers, and a chip? I know Mopar offers an exhaust system from Borla...how much can you get it for me? Moreover, I am a member of a Crossfire forum, and maybe, through you, I can set-up a group-buy on the exhaust system.

I doubt that AUtozone can order them for you since they are not DOT approved. You could try though.
