Photochop homies...a job... - Jeff - 11-28-2005 Ok, Syliva and I need someone with MADD SKILLZ to help us out with the photoshop here. I need someone to take this picture - ![]() Fix the fender and then apply this color to the body - ![]() ![]() But this is the interesting part. On the body kit, spoiler-top, and the trim around the windows we would like one done with flat black (daytona truck's spoiler color) and one in some sort of dark slate...a "graphite" or "gunmetal." Anyone have time to do this for us?! We need to decide on the body kit color so we can paint it this christmas break...if we need to pay we can talk. I figure u guys mess around enough that someone can find some time. - Jeff - 11-28-2005 PS whoever might do this, feel free to put any good looking trim-color wheels on it, we are looking for ideas in that department also. Also those lines on the front nose are where stripes used to be...they should be removed. - Mike - 11-28-2005 photoshopping a metallic paint job on to a flat car will look like ass... unless someone is amazing (nobody here is), it isn't going to give you any idea of what the car will look like. sorry
- Feersty - 11-28-2005 Try H0nda Tech. - ScottyB - 11-29-2005 sorry bud, there isn't a whole lot i can do with my average pshop talent. the metallic luster in the paint is super hard to duplicate on your car. i did manage to fix your fender and put a little of that orange on your hood. hope that helps.
- Mike - 11-29-2005 scotty, your best bet is to select the red and then modify the values of it rather than trying to paste the new color on. - Jeff - 11-29-2005 Can you make the car orange in like a 70's flat orange look? Just to get the vibe of the other. Then flat (satin) out the body-kit in black? - ScottyB - 11-29-2005 Mike Wrote:scotty, your best bet is to select the red and then modify the values of it rather than trying to paste the new color on. right on....i tried that too but it was terrible looking (esp. with the faded part). so i just did the hood as kind of a "swatch" - GLHgurl - 11-29-2005 Thanks for working on the picture for us Scotty. Just making it solid orange would be great for now. Jeff and I have been debating on the idea between flat back and graphite for the body kit. Graphite is closer to the original color of the trim however flat black is what’s on the Charger and the Daytona Ram. Does anyone have an opinion on the trim color? - Rex4life - 11-29-2005 dukes of hazzard orange complete with the 01 on the side. maybe photoshop a pic of him jumping in the window too for good measure - Jeff - 11-30-2005 My auto-X/track #s are gonna be the DH "01" Anyways. What needs to be got for htis to be done? A good clean picture of a red one someone cant tint orange to give me the feel then tint the GFX? HELP ME!
- ScottyB - 12-01-2005 much better pic to work with, i'll try it. edit: those look just like old school audi rims - Jeff - 12-01-2005 lol...those are the crappy 88 Van/K-car rims. the 14in blingers. Its ok Scotty...I will forgive you in exchange for a sexy photoshop edit- Audi RimZ < Minivan bling - Jeff - 12-04-2005 SCOTTY!!!! - ScottyB - 12-04-2005 ![]() that's all i got homeskillet. even though the color is a closer match, you can't make a regular paint look metal flakey. i tried! - WRXtranceformed - 12-04-2005 Looks good! =D - Feersty - 12-04-2005 I like it, the bottom should be flat black though. I think that would look hot. Edit: you did that already.. - Myuki - 12-04-2005 gj Scotty! - Ryan T - 12-04-2005 I think it'd look better if you painted the bottom part of the car the same color. - Mike - 12-04-2005 i'm with thayer... less mexican
