The people that buy those cars dont have to make that choice.

That is such a retarded amount of money for a pig of an American car. Hennessey sucks balls too, f that guy.

- Evan - 11-25-2005

yep. He is a slimy crook. Somehow he still convinces to magazines to gush over his cars as they lick his ballsack.

- Jeff - 11-26-2005

ItÔÇÖs the 1000+ HP that causes the ball-licking Evan. I tried to research the whole rip-off case but couldn't really find anything worth reading or trusting about it. There are quite a few very satisfied customers from what I can see. The magazines can be bought...but a 1000hp viper would have me gushing too (maybe even licking some ballz if I could keep it)

Where there's smoke there's fire.

Its kind of difficult to find info about the fraud with Google because there are so many cyber-squatters who throw "Hennessey Viper" into their keywords but after playing with the search strings for about 10 minutes I found this:

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.autoweek.com/article.cms?articleId=4073">http://www.autoweek.com/article.cms?articleId=4073</a><!-- m -->

Quote:ÔÇ£If you were out of state, man you were fair game,ÔÇØ said Kyle Kent, a former employee at Hennessey Motorsports. When an out-of-state car came in it was sometimes parted out, with the wheels, tires and whatever else looked good going to other cars waiting to be finished or sold outright, according to Kent and others inside Hennessey Motorsports. Then Hennessey would call the carÔÇÖs owner and try to sell him an upgraded kit. If the customer balked, Hennessey would take parts from other cars in the shop, or just let the job sit.

Kent described one typical disassembly on an out-of-state Viper. ÔÇ£The motor and transmission went into a Durango John was putting together, the brakes went to someone else, the hood went to a guy in Ohio, the rear bumper to South Carolina, man you name it. We had multiple cars like that.ÔÇØ
