Indeed..... but i'll be looking for a F4/F4i in the spring, I think. I'll save the literbike for another year, although i want a big twin with loud pipes just for that fxcking sound.... :blort:

Where is your gear pic? Does your jacket match your bike/helmet/gloves Wink

- .paul - 11-08-2005

that's "motorcycle rice" according to RJ

- .RJ - 11-08-2005

Indeed it is.

I went back and forth between getting 'bright' gear - in the end I bought a HJC helmet, Alpinestars 'spinner' jacket in black/grey and black teknic gloves. I didnt want to look like a power ranger whenever I was more than 10 feet from the bike, and I figure if they dont see me on the road it wont be because of the jacket. The jacket does have revlective striping on it, I think that helps out a lot more than brighter colors would. So far I'm really happy with the jacket - its warm enough with some layers underneath, and on the 75 deg days its perfect with a t-shirt underneath - and I can take the liner out when it starts to warm up late spring. Its also getting really comfortable as its breaking in.

I havent bought pants or boots yet, but I will probably pick up some textile pants over the winter. I've bought the gear from Fastlane Cycles in Chantilly and they've been able to beat any online price I found.

Gloves - <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/Teknic_Enforcer_Gloves--33-TEK-1.html">http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/Tek ... TEK-1.html</a><!-- m -->
