I'm in need of a Truck for this saturday - Nick325is - 11-02-2005

I need to run down to Williamsburg this weekend and trailer a car back to the Burg. Would anyone with a truck be willing to lend a hand for Saturday? The truck will be well taken care of and returned will a full tank of gas. Big Grin
I will be pulling the car with either a dolly or a trailer...not sure which one yet.

woohoooooo. That thing was a blast for towing. The great rumble from the engine almost covered the slurping sound coming from my wallet Big Grin . Thanks again; sorry you couldn't be there to see her birthday and my computer sucked so bad.

Nick bought something for our evil plan. I set him up with the guy. Also, U-haul says they won't rent us a trailer unless we have a hitch on our truck. At least a class 2.

yeah my friend and I ran into a huge dilema with towing for this weekend. we have to get his "abandonded car" out of his apartment complex so we were just going to rent a truck and rent a trailer. U-haul won't let you use a rented vehicle to tow one of their trailers.

ok guys...we are down to the wire now! John was nice enough to hook us up but U-haul is taking a dump on us bigtime. First this place said sure and now they say no...so we are screwed unless someone has a hitch on their truck. Helping an MMer in need is a good deed...someone...please help.

that doesn't really solve the towing issue. you can't tow a car with chains for any extended distance.

So U-Haul won't accept a bumper pull anymore? I've towed like that for some time now, and while I know it isn't ideal, I've not had a problem renting a trailer...
