I am bringing this thread back from the dead for two reasons:
#1: I read this for the first time today and giggled nearly the whole way through it.
#2: I thought this was really telling, because his mentality is exactly the thing I struggle with on the street. Sure, the track is fine, but a bendy twisty gravel road, lined with trees and a 2" shoulder will elicit a smile on my face quicker than any other.
Sure, I'm not a motorcyclist, (yet, as some of you would say) but this spirit of raw speed, wrestling with your machine to go ever-faster is pretty prevalent in all motor enthusiasts, not just bikercycles. So I thought it was interesting, and fun to read, and nobody replied to this thread anyway.
(Also, and I read this elsewhere today, and was going to post it in a new topic but decided to search first to avoid being a Really Entertaining Possibly Obnoxious Showboat Tallywhacker.)

Its not like I pulled out a single grammatical error and called you out on it - but if you're going to go out of your way to spell out "REPOST" in bold capital letters you should get that one right :lol:

I freely admit I misspelled it, but you could have at least made a comment on the posts content before ridiculing me, instead of jumping straight to the thing I tacked onto the end as an aside.

Knowing the results of a buddy who rode a bicycle down the hall while dropping acid, I can say with certainty no one should EVER ride a motorcycle under the same circumstances.
Still, that was entertaining, and I love the guy's style.
