Mention of a trip to Reddish Knob - Nis01 - 10-13-2005
Hey guys,
I remember at one of the meetings somebody mentioning about trying to set up a trip to Reddish Knob and perhaps bringing a grill with us. I was wondering if we want to start planning for this for perhaps... the weekend of the 29th. I figured this was far enough away for people to plan and slightly before the cold really starts to hit. I would try to organize but don't know the way... :oops: I thought it would be a lot of fun and figured I'd bring the idea back up. Had no idea if anything is going on that weekend... more or less a shot in the dark but post some feedback of interest. It might have to wait until after winter but figured it be a nice get together.
Alright.. well, thats homecoming weekend... So perhaps somebody else can come up with something half way decent...

great idea, hoMMecoMMing will be a bit crazy as far as scheduling anything. as long as you show interest in an event/activity our fellow officers will be happy to entertain the idea. keep em' coming!

We took a trip to Reddish Knob earlier in the day during a HoMMecoMMing weekend. Not sure about the grilling though, might be a lot of work. There is no where to throw trash either, iirc.

Sounds like a great idea. I have a gas grill we could use. And for trash, we could use a trash bag and just haul it back with us.

Damn, I think I'm going to be down there for work, but probably not until the following week (or maybe the one after that). If anything is going on then, post it and I'll try to attend.
