Where do you buy your gear. - mrbaggio - 10-10-2005 I am in need of a winter riding gear. Jacket and gloves for sure and likely pants. Where do you guys shop for gear? Do you know of any good (cheap) online stores? I am thinking I will price it out on the net, and have my local shop order it for me. -Justin - JohnC - 10-10-2005 newenough.com kneedraggers.com helmetshop.com Those are good places to start... - Sijray21 - 10-10-2005 JohnC Wrote:newenough.com so far i've only dealt with those sites. i always try the stuff on at Coleman's and buy it online if it's cheaper. - JohnC - 10-10-2005 theguywiththeSi Wrote:JohnC Wrote:newenough.com FWIW, I bought my jacket, helmet and gloves from Coleman's. They were willing to cut me a deal just 'cause I asked for one, and it ended up being about the same price as online (as opposed to paying MSRP like all of the tags indicated). I bought my pants (Fieldsheer Highlands) from helmetshop.com - decent experience. - Ginger - 10-10-2005 I generally don't buy at Coleman's if I can manage it. I've been apalled with their service several times. Their shop gets my seal of approval, though, as they've cut me deals on tire mounting and balancing more than once. Best shop I've found in NOVA is Fast Lane Cycles - racer shop, great management, good prices all things considered, and what they don't have they'll get for you with no fuss. Online helmetharbor.com and newenough.com are t3h w!n. - mpg9999 - 10-10-2005 If you sign up for the coleman newsletter online you can get a coupon for either 20 or 25% off (can't remember which). That coupon will make whatever you buy cheaper then online. I used it for my fieldsheer leather jacket. - Ross.Church - 10-10-2005 JohnC Wrote:newenough.comI've also dealt with http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com --they're not bad. |
