OMG! Gran Turismo with bikes!!! - G.Irish - 10-07-2005 Check out the vid y0. http://ps2.ign.com/objects/771/771980.html Of course, my enthusiasm is a bit reserved. If TT is like GT it'll be a bit too arcadey for my tastes. Luckily there's Moto GP 4 (coming this month)... - G.Irish - 10-07-2005 ![]() ![]() - Mike - 10-07-2005 shut upppp that is too hot. are there any good gp games out right now? i havea hankering to play one. - Mike - 10-07-2005 i went out and bought moto gp3 for xbox.... it seems it was just out 3 months ago so i don't really see how they're having a 4 (full upgrade) out in another month. what i did find is 3 was not offered on ps2 and 4 will not be offered on xbox... soooo maybe 4 on ps2 = 3 on xbox? - G.Irish - 10-08-2005 Nope, Moto GP 3 came out on PS2 in 2003. Moto GP4 is all new and has all/most of the riders and bikes from 2004 (and it includes the 125 and 250 cc classes). - G.Irish - 10-09-2005 So at the USGP Namco had a booth for Moto GP3 where you could get on the list to get information about Moto GP4. Welp, I got the demo disc yesterday (also includes playable demo of Soul Calibur III). Its a pretty cool came, cool enough that spent a couple of hours trying to get the hang of it. The GP bikes are pretty difficult to control, especially when you're using the X button to modulate throttle. I've heard that you can switch the throttle to the thumb control so that'll make it much easier to play. The handling model is pretty good, but I think its dumbed down a bit. The bike will step out and high-side anytime you're imprudent with the throttle but still, it reacts relatively slowly. I think I'll end up buying this though, it was fun enough to keep my attention with only 2 tracks to play on. - Evan - 10-09-2005 why do the bikes in those pics have lights? - Mike - 10-09-2005 just so they could use lens flares in the pics. people love lens flares... |
