What do ya'll know about factory fives? Any overarching issues with any of the models that ya'll know of? Any info is appreciated! (I think I'd get the coupe out of any of em)

They're only as good as the person who built it. I've seen some real sorry excuses for cobras out there..... a good build is going to be $30k or more.

I'd highly suggest its going to be 'or more'. A GOOD one will probably run closer to 50. Personally, they make great show cars, not so great track cars. To light and to much HP.

well the Factory 5 cars are sourced from a kit and i think 87-90 mustangs. the motor is supposed to be "stock." the brakes have to be the cast crap that came on them. contact laura and see if she can put you in touch with the F5 guys and steve marcus... he has a fleet of them.

And bad aero? as in -dynamics? The car would be for show I believe...highly doubt it'll get too much track time. Just a mid-life crisis auto.
