All season tires for an E36 M3? - NaptownE36 - 09-21-2005
Hey guys, thought I'd see what other E36 owners are running as their all seasons. I'm getting some Hankook's (RSS Z211s) as my track tires, but they won't last long on the road. The Pirelli Pzero Niro M&S tires seem to come in at a decent price and since they're available on Tirerack I can get them shipped to an installer literally across the street, which is very convenient. Any thoughts?

they are orig. equipment on the new stang gt and it pulls .90g on the skidpad FWIW. i've heard mostly good things about them, but i imagine like most higher perf. tires they will last maybe 20k?

If you really are going to get the Explorer for the winter then those might not be a bad choice, but if you are going to DD the M3 for a while I'd get something that will last a little longer, esp since you can throw on the 'kooks if you want to go out and have some fun

Fuzions have served me well. I know they aren't all seasons (I have only had uni-directional tires for the past 4 years), but they serve me very well in the rain and are great in the dry (that is what I use on the track as well). I might suggest those, since they are so cheap, still have a good treadwear rating, and aren't bad tires.

BF Goodrich Traction T/A's were pretty decent on the Golf. Lots of people also like the Yoko ES100s...

I rocked Falken Ziex 512's on my open diff'd e30 over the winter, and I was relatively happy with them. All seasons aren't great at anything, but these were okay, all things considered. Cheap as all get out too.

another vote for the traction t/a here! i don't know how well they grip as they were only put on my roomate's beat assed accord, but it felt pretty good and they were amazing in all weather conditions.

Definitly avoid the ES100s. They aren't that great in the dry and are definitly horrible for an all season.
