- Ryan T - 07-07-2005

Thats got to be the funniest thing I've seen in weeks.

- CaptainHenreh - 07-07-2005

Classic.

- bassmangrammy - 07-07-2005

That's funny...it was some impressive driving to miss all those cars on the pace lap.

- Mike - 07-07-2005

impressive? lucky.

- lillitnn92 - 07-07-2005

ooo man, that was wrong. i'm sorry, i would have went on around her i think and let them straighten it out later.

I think I would have stayed in position on the pace lap, done my best, and then raised holy hell when the race was over.

- Sijray21 - 07-07-2005

haha, "i'm seventh!!", hilarious and that sucks

i'm surprised he wasn't black flagged after that pace lap though, whoa

- Mike - 07-07-2005

would have been 10x funnier had he been fiiiiifffff!

- bassmangrammy - 07-07-2005

what exactly did he do to deserve that?

- Sijray21 - 07-07-2005

BassmanGrammy Wrote:what exactly did he do to deserve that?

looks like the person working grid misunderstood his signal and thought he was not supposed to go...?

just miscommunication between the driver and the worker

Then it's just midcommunication when he runs her over or out of the way!

- BLINGMW - 07-07-2005

that was one hell of a field 'o shitboxes though! GLorious. Not so glorious when you're waiting to be last I guess. :?

- Myuki - 07-07-2005

he should have started and then let the guy slip in front of him. But that was pretty stupid to hol dhim there like that. The worker prety much jumped in his way when he started to go.

- Mike - 07-07-2005

with a field that large you don't have time to ask the driver how many cars he wants in front of him. per the rulebook, if you hesitate when told you go, you go to the back.

additionally, it was a race for his rookie license and i think he was supposed to start in the back anyway.

okay, i understand the hesitation ruke, but if he ualified 7th, shouldn't he start there, no matter what race it is?

- .RJ - 07-07-2005

Right, but if he didnt fix the situation 5 minutes before the field goes off, then tough shit and dont worry about it. If the grid worker for a 70 car field tells you to go, you go NOW, or you start from the back.

I guess cause there are so many cars, the grid workers can't be expected to keep track of all of the positions, so like you said, go NOW, or don't

- Mike - 07-07-2005

correct.
