For Sale: 4 17X7.5 Moda M1's with tires - ScottyB - 05-22-2005

as title says....4 Moda (made by BBS) M1 17x7.5 rims with tires, for sale CHEAP. the trusty accord is on its way out, and i want these things gone from my already cramped basement.

specs:

material - cast i think, of what....i don't know (aluminum?)
bolt pattern - 4x114.3 (weird ass accord bolt pattern)
offset - unsure, probably 35. the rim sticks out maybe 2mm or so from under the fender on the front hubs of my '01 accord.
weight - unsure...probably 19 or 20 pounds apeice w/o tire. info on these admittedly old school rims is scarce and difficult to find.
tires - michelin pilot sport MXX3's in 205/50-17. the tires are very worn, have maybe 2-4000 miles left in them, or probably 2 good autocrosses.

the wheels are in decent shape and have center caps (2 of the caps are kinda beat up). two rims have a ding on the outside edge, and i believe all of them have mild to very mild curb rash, although the integrity and air-holding ability of the rims are fine....strictly cosmetic damage. the valve stems are metal and seem to be high quality. the wheels are were balanced for the tires about 8,000 miles ago and ride flawlessly. the rims were always cleaned well, on the outer and inner part of the rim.

shoot me an offer. for an MM'er, i'll let em go for next to nothing. rims/tires are in roanoke, i really don't want to drive anywhere to sell them....

Why? Much better wheel selection in 5x114 Smile Stock FD wheels are 16x8... that should work well

just for the reason that i can run stock wheels.. plus the main reason i am building this car is for drifting so i can run stock steelies that are pretty much free out back. getting really cheep 5 by 114 wheels is alittle harder

but i agree though.. with any 5 lug setup there are much cooler wheels.. just thinkin that when im going to be needing 10 pair of wheels for the rear for one event it would be much more expensive to get 5 lug wheels.. at least thats what i have learned from my freinds with 5 lug 240;s

as in 20 wheels and tires YES hahaha.. going to be getting expensive. doubt ill ever have all those anyways.. so those all day drift events ill have to be calling it quits early due to lack of tires left. usually the SR guys get 3 runs out of a pair or tires. last event i did like 25 runs cause my corrolla didnt use tires (100hp thats why) but with more than double that ill be killin alot

6 pairs should do me good.. i hope... 10 would be ideal.. and a way to carry them all hahaha

Blair....cheap as in, 100 bucks for it all? make me an offer, i don't care Tongue . paid twice that for the wheels, and more for the tires and balancing. just tryin to cut my losses.

if you are still interested, we can figure out a plan to meet up, maybe halfway from jmu to roanoke.

FINALLY! someone has the oddball 4x114.3 pattern like my car! do a search for diamond racing. they make black or chrome steelies in any width and bolt pattern

i apologize for the filth, i've been hella busy packing/getting moving stuff in order. the wheels will be cleaned/waxed before they are sold.

this is one of the pairs of tires that has the best tread. you can see by the dime in the tread that there isn't much left. the other pair of tires has almost no tread blocks on the inside edge of the tires.
