1989 RX-7 TurboII - JackoliciousLegs - 03-14-2004

No people, it's not mine. It's my friend matt's. We worked on our cars together and this thing is great. He's invested so much money in this car and 4500 is a steal. If anyone wants the best way to get into rx7s, this is it.

Quote:1989 S5 Black Leather Interior
new rebuilt mazda 13BT installed...less than 3k on motor
used jspec tranny with 40k miles installed..works perfect
new apexi n1 exhaust
new brake pads, resurfaced rotors
new khumo tires in front and rear (ecsta supra Vrated)
new engine flush, oil change, coolant flush, tranny oil, differential oil
new spark plugs
new bushing kit (not all installed yet)
bypassed the ABS
centerforce dual friction clutch with plenty of life
ready to be painted (car is currently primered)
very nice condition
have all receipts plus extra tranny and tons of parts, gasket sets (new), s5 fcd, etc

car runs very well, turbo boosts great (7psi), never boosted over stock and engine was broken in 2k before any boost applied. i'm selling because im graduating college and don't have the money to pour into it anymore. it just needs a paint job to be perfect. body is straight. NO RUST.
$4500 I MUST SELL THIS CAR SOON
email me at chasemd@jmu.edu thanks!

he says he's selling because he doesn't have the money to pour in to it, but then also says all it needs to be perfect is a paint job... eh?

- JackoliciousLegs - 03-14-2004

trust me, the car is PERFECT... i worked on it with him. I've seen him put over $6000 into the car. The car is truly perfect. A new coat of black paint and it would be brandy new. He did all the body work and primered it himself.

- Mike - 03-14-2004

Then it doesn't need money poured in to it anymore. So what I'm saying is what is the real reason he's selling it?

- JackoliciousLegs - 03-14-2004

I haven't spoken to him since he decided to sell it. I just stumbled upon his post here: http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?s ... did=282210

I'm very surprised he's selling it. I'll call him tonight. I figure the only reason he'd sell is is because he ran out of money. ???

- Evan - 03-14-2004

Why would he primer a car that already has a perfectly good paintjob on it?

- JackoliciousLegs - 03-14-2004

it was an old paintjob and it was showing signs of wear with a bubble on the sunroof. He did all the body work, now he's graduating and moving to japan so he's got to sell it. He said he might buy another in japan, but he's got to sell this to have enough money for the college-work interim...

- Kaan - 03-16-2004

hahahahaha... you worked on it and want to add that in as a selling point? sheesh!

- Dave - 05-07-2004

talked to Matt today, he sold it a couple weeks ago, just in case anybody cares Big Grin
