This from a man who was just complaining about E36's having electrical gremlins and poor fit and finish...

- .RJ - 05-12-2005

Yeah but better suspension, brakes, LSD, 3.0L and +50hp makes it all worthwhile! Big Grin

- G.Irish - 05-12-2005

Well in that case you should buy a FD.

- Rex4life - 05-12-2005

- 1.7L

but two turbos can make up for anything

- Myuki - 05-12-2005

hotness

- Feersty - 05-12-2005

So the M3 is worth it and not any other E36?

- .RJ - 05-13-2005

I think the M3's stuff almost makes up for the hassles of E36 ownership - they're still good cars, and I will probably keep mine, it just does everything well - but it does need some $$ into it this summer.

- JackoliciousLegs - 05-15-2005

Well shit...

NO Jack... N! O! Save money for at least a couple months... then buy an M3 in winter when prices are down.... yess... that sounds like a great idea!!!

^^----- crazy Jack

- JackoliciousLegs - 05-18-2005

Dammit, the deals just keep getting better

- Mike - 05-18-2005

there is a reason they're so cheap...

- JackoliciousLegs - 05-18-2005

Well, I'd take a look before buying... but some of those look REEEEEEEEEEAL appetizing

- .RJ - 05-18-2005

They're appetizing while you're sitting behind the screen, but not so much when the goddamn thing is falling apart, the steering wheel shakes and rear end clunks due to worn out bushings, and the shifter feels like stirring a butter churn </rant>

I dont think there's such thing as an M3 cheaper than $15k. Sure you can buy one for $12k but its going to need $3k in parts and/or paint to make it nice again.

But the chassis balance, rwd and sweet sounds of the I-6 make me all hot and bothered........ dayumit it all to hell!
