FS: 1989 Buick Century - Feersty - 05-10-2005 Yeah I want to get rid of this, it has 196,xxx miles. Good things: new front tires and Panasonic headunit, and blaupunkt speakers all around, 6x9s in the rear and 4x6 front. Clean interior. Rust spots all over though. especially right rear and at the bottom of the doors. I would like to part the speakers and headunit out, or sell with the car so I don't have to take them out. The car runs but shakes violently when not moving and in drive. It is also not suitable to be run on the highway. Seems to run rough all the time though. Can be used to cruise around Harrisonburg though. Adam says the plug wires may need to be replaced so take it for what it is. With the Stereo I am going to ask for $600. But do make offers if you are interested. It is a good candidate for a project: pimp car or a 3800 series swap. Car featured on the popular MTV Series Pimp My Ride, but the episode never aired. - Dave - 05-10-2005 I'll start the bidding at -$1. - ViPER1313 - 05-10-2005 I'll give you $200 including the stereo. - Andy - 05-10-2005 Dave Wrote:I'll start the bidding at -$1. It's going to take more than Feersty giving me a dollar for that pile. Please post pics of the dumbass that's willing to pay for a fked up century. I'll give you money for that. - Feersty - 05-11-2005 jackstands Wrote:Dave Wrote:I'll start the bidding at -$1. It's going to take more than Feersty giving me a dollar for that pile. The car runs... - Mike - 05-13-2005 Feersty Wrote:The car runs... In to walls or off cliffs really well! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee - Evan - 05-14-2005 jackstands Wrote:WTF? This to fix the catalytic converter, replace plugs, and improve the fuel injection system. - ViPER1313 - 05-18-2005 You are retarded - sell it and don't put another dime into it. I raise my bid to $300 in light of the repairs (see, you put $473 in, get $100 out - it's a loosing game.) - Jeff - 05-19-2005 Dude, why? Why did u put all that money into it? A guy was in the garage today telling me he got a Fiero for $700...and put $5000 into it(to just get it legal and running, no mods). He wasn't happy when I slipped and actually said "and you still have a $500 car." But I was able to make a joke of it and he left happy...in his 5.9 R/T Dakota

Yeah what Mike said, had to get it home..... - Mike - 06-12-2005 i was actually not defending you at all. i was pointing out that your reasoning of its value absed on what you just put in it is silly. |
