repost: 1980 CM400E motocyle...is it worth $200? - rome138 - 04-10-2005 my landlord said we could have the previous tenant's bike 'cuz he abandoned it. i'm about to sell it for $200 to these spanish townies that keep coming by. should i do it 'cuz i'm not going to get anymore for it or is this a dumb idea? by the way theres - No title - No key - and apprently they abandoned it 'cuz it would cost them something around $500 or more to fix it to get it running? for the those 3 reasons i couldn't legally sell it. i did tell these guys about the no title, key and it probably doesn't work. i'm assuming he just wants to work on it, etc... i may be able to sell it to a junk yard or a local bike shop around here, but i'm thinking this is my best bet. let me know asap what you all think, thanks!!! i do see in the kelly blue book its Suggested Retail Value is $800 but you know thats fully restored(working) and yea..a title..heh http://www.kbb.com/kb/ki.dll/ke.kb.mr?kbb;274930;&;rc;r&154&1980;Honda;CM400E;42400;10635;;;;&&&&& ![]() ![]() i posted this in the motorcycle forum as well. sorry for the repost...i just need to know asap so i'll delete one of these sometime tomorrow |
