So I tried to drive back to NOVA today to switch cars. But my car shakes violently at 60 mph. Whenever I am at a stoplight in Drive my whole car gyrates. Do y'all think it is a transmission problem? A motormount? My car sucks? The cat also knocks against the chassis.

sounds like a motor mount. does it get worse with rpms?

Not sure about rpms cause I don't have a tachometer, but it dissipates till about 60 mph and then comes back again. From like 5 mph-45 mph it seems alright but I still get the burbling.
My parents are at the Honda dealer right now looking at Hybrids... :?

Why are your parents looking at cars for you? You are a big boy Rob - man up and pick a car that you like (which I assume is not a Civic hybrid.) You should be looking at cars, and if your parents are picking up the tab then you should negotiate with them concerning the cars you want to buy.

Oh the car is not going to be for me. I was going to take my dad's S10 and bring my bike down here. So they would need another car. The S10 would be for just the time being.

Ah yes, called the mechanic, here is what he said the problems were upon a quick check over....
Knock in engine from a possible thrown main bearing or rod bearing
Line in transmission :?: off, broke, something.
Cylinder off, no even running.(I gunned the car all the time, fwiw)
It's misfiring.
