ROTA wheels - Andy - 04-08-2005 They seem to be pretty popular and GRM's civic had some. Are they alright for track use? There's gotta be a catch, right? - Mike - 04-08-2005 no catch, good wheels. - Evan - 04-08-2005 no catch. I had 2 sets for the WRX. Great wheels. - .RJ - 04-08-2005 no catch... i used them on the lunchbox and blew up a transmission but the wheels were fine. - Andy - 04-08-2005 I think i'm going to get some of the fake-me-out 16" work circuit 8 wheels for auto-x. - Mike - 04-08-2005 work circuit 8? wtf? - Andy - 04-08-2005 http://www.rotawheels.com/curcuit8.htm - Chris - 04-08-2005 and get some azenis as tires! - .RJ - 04-08-2005 The circuit 8's are "mugen MF8" copies. n00b!

- .RJ - 04-08-2005  - mpg9999 - 04-08-2005 Nothing wrong with rota's but the Kosie K1's are stronger for not that much more. Since you said track use, I'd pay for the slightly more expensive k1's. Less chance of bending a wheel on an off track excursion. I think I actually heard the price went down at tire rack, something like 119 a wheel.
- Feersty - 04-08-2005 I myself love the GT3's Black with polished lip, hot.
- Mike - 04-09-2005 k1s are also a great wheel, but harder to find (unless tirerack has them again) and a tiny bit heavier. - navin - 04-09-2005 tirerack has K1's in stock, i bought mine like a month or two ago.. |
