Car Show: On-Car Flier Drop - Chris - 03-30-2005
Two dates are set for the on-car flier drops. We'll need as many people as we can get to cover H-burg parking lots, all of campus, and all the apartments.
We'll have the fliers Wednesday, April 13th at the meeting to hand out.
Dates:
Thursday, April 14th at 2:30pm- meet in the ISAT gravel lot
Thursday, April 21st at 2:30pm- meet in the ISAT gravel lot

The success of the car show really depends in attracting new people into the show, and into the club.
I cannot stress enough how important this is - you all can spare an hour or two out of either day and do this. If you dont, I will come up there and kick your ass myself
Chris - I'd recommend adding another day as well, maybe wednesday.

I can probably do the 14th after I get out of class at 3:15, but the 21st is out. I'll be in Charlotte at a Montley Crue concert.

One other thing - I'd do another flyer drop 2 weeks before the show, if you can....

if i can get my hands on some flyers, im just going to go nuts on a wednesday or friday. t/th i have class from 1:30 to 6

I could join you either or both of these days. I've just got a Wed. afternoon class from 3:30-4:40. nothing on fridays.

are we going to be placing flyers on campus cars or in the apartment complexes too? i can definitely go through hunters ridge if you guys need and i should be around on thursdays after 3:15.

both. seriously, just carry a wad of fliers in your pocket/bag at all times, and whip one out if you see any kind of cool and/or modified car

The people that bring these to Qdoba get discounts on their food and we get $1.50 per flyer?

The Qdoba ones people bring in- its the same price for them but they donate either $1.00 or $1.50 for each flier.
This thread though is about putting out car show fliers on cars in town.

i know, we screwed up. we're working on it right now. somehow some of my files got messed up and we ended up printing the wrong ones without realizing it. we'll keep this situation updated since tommorow we were going to hand these out.

okay, i got about 15 cars in all. a bunch at Bridgewater College and EMU and one out 33w food lion. my drop got cut short because the girlfriend called and said she would be late and i had to start dinner :roll:
so i'm thinking about running into Staunton tomorrow and drop some. i grew up there, so i should be able to hit a lot of cars.
