Ferrari feeling the influence of Bangle too - G.Irish - 03-01-2004
Ferrari styling has clearly stepped over the line between exotic and ugly with this new concept which supposedly is a concept for the 360 replacement. I thought the styling of the Enzo was questionable but not horrible, this is just horrible.

Ferrari needs to give up on this idea that their sports cars should look like formula one cars. Open wheel designs and street car designs don't mix.

good lord. i am definitely NOT a fan of bangle, and i'm also definitely not a fan of the F1 influence alot of stylists have gone with in order to portray a certain car's link to F1....for instance look at the front of the new merc SLR, the enzo, and, if anyone remembers it, that 500hp, awd, rod millen designed "ultimate celica" that was featured in car and driver a couple years back (even though it was a one-off, it was still significantly ugly).
i guess if the styling is necessary for downforce and improved performance, its understandable, but if not, why would anyone try to style a car like that?

Side view looks like my Tommy Kaira ZZII which sports AWD and 1000hp. I love that damn car. This new Ferrari looks better than the Enzo IMO.

I meant it is a step up in my opinion. Sure it is no F40, but it does look better than the Enzo.
