Drift SE-R - mpg9999 - 02-24-2005 Just in time for this weekends autocross, I installed my adjustable progress rear sway bar .Before ![]() Comparison ![]() After ![]() Right now I have it on the middle setting. Hopefully I can handle the oversteer at this autocross. I wouldnt be surprised if I spin out. I wouldnt be surprised if I spin out on every single run... Although hopefully, I will be faster then before and place pretty well, but we'll see. The install wasnt too bad. You can't fit a wrench in these stupid L brackets so you have to jam a screw driver in it, which subsequently gets stuck. I had to use washers to shim the hiem joints so they wouldnt bind. I new this ahead of time so I had about 15 3/8" washers from home depot. Shimmed hiem joints: ![]() And here is a picture I took tonight of me pulling into the driveway. That wheel is pretty far off the ground if you can't tell because of the lighting. ![]() One stiff sway bar. Someone better get some shots of me three wheeling this weekend. -Mike - G.Irish - 02-24-2005 Just be smoother on turn in and trailing throttle and you'll be ok. Might have to adjust a little bit more if you're a left foot braker. - ScottyB - 02-24-2005 nice man. question though.....why did the original bar have that weird kink on the right side? couldn't they have just made it straight like the aftermarket bar? - Sijray21 - 02-24-2005 looks good mike! wish i could come to the auto-x, kick some arse. - .RJ - 02-24-2005 G.Irish Wrote:left foot braker. It's to clear the stock exhaust. The kink goes up, and then has a wide arc downwards. 240 stock bars have it too. It is teh ghey. Also, did you really put a jackstand on the knuckle like this, or does it just look that way? - mpg9999 - 02-24-2005 CaptainHenreh Wrote:ScottyB Wrote:nice man. question though.....why did the original bar have that weird kink on the right side? couldn't they have just made it straight like the aftermarket bar? Yup, thats to clear the exhaust. And yes, I really put the jack stands on the knuckle like that. The suspension needed to be under load, just as if it were on the ground. That was the easiest way for me to do it. - CaptainHenreh - 02-24-2005 mpg9999 Wrote:Yup, thats to clear the exhaust. And yes, I really put the jack stands on the knuckle like that. Looks scary, but at least you had a reason to do it. - Krush - 02-24-2005 lol, you post whore the same shit on CCVT and MM - JohnC - 02-24-2005 Krush Wrote:lol, you post whore the same shit on CCVT and MM and CAV too  - mpg9999 - 02-25-2005 JohnC Wrote:Krush Wrote:lol, you post whore the same shit on CCVT and MM Yeah I posted on ccvt, but I didnt post this on Cav.
