Car Show banner - Chris - 02-22-2005 just to let everyone know, I signed us up for the large banner on the hill in the commons near D Hall for the week before the car show. Starting on Tuesday April 19th we'll have it up- so keep an eye out. Its only $20 for the large outdoor banner through events and conf. and we'll get Scotty to design it! Would you guys like to see a car show only banner (ex- "Madison Motorshow this Saturday" with location or a general MM banner we can use elsewhere)? We've got a smaller banner for general use, but we can always use another. - Nick325is - 02-22-2005 I think it should specifically reference the show on saturday. Otherwise it doesn't get the message out. Nick - Ryan T - 02-23-2005 I agree. It should def. refer to the show. - Jewels - 02-23-2005 As a person with a Public Relations degree, I'd like to say that advertising the car show is the best way to go, you need to get people at the event so they can better see what the group is all about. That's the main idea behind the car show anyway, so that's not news to anyone. Lets just hope that JMU gives us a bigger parking lot cause we are growing out of that little lot they insist upon giving us. I mean that's a great problem to have but not when you want to show off your cars, nobody wants to be cramped into a little space. Just my $.02 on the matter. - ScottyB - 02-23-2005 i'm all for having proper information on the banner....but can i draw cars on it? hehe, ill draw up some examples on some 2x10 peices of paper and scan them in to give you an idea of what im thinking as possibilities. - Chris - 02-23-2005 cool beans. Scotty, draw whatever the hell you want- maybe word it so it can be used each year (dont' paint on one date so we can't use it again)... or maybe we can paint over it afterwards. - Nick325is - 02-23-2005 Why don't we have a part on the banner that has a removable date. Perhaps a big velcro square or something along those lines. Nick - Chris - 02-23-2005 Nick325is Wrote:Why don't we have a part on the banner that has a removable date.
