local photoshoot action - ScottyB - 02-17-2005
yeah so jay and i decided it would be great to wash our cars today in the 60 degree weather. except, when we got around to actually washing the cars, it was 40 degrees. so we got the cars clean and since we realize they won't stay clean long, we figured we better get some good pics of the cars. there's a few pretty cool places around campus to get your car on film.
the loading dock behind the hospital:

ha! so get this:
i get a call about 12:30 this afternoon from the HBPD. they ask if they can question me about the fact that i might have possibly witnessed an accident or something like that. i ask if they'd like me to come down to the station to talk to them, but they decline and say they'll just come over to my place and save me the trip.
so my mind is racing. cops are coming to my house because i might have witnessed an accident that i have no recollection of. did someone report me of something i did wrong? am i in trouble? i didn't know and i was pretty nervous.
so an officer and another guy (plain clothes officer?) show up at my door, and i invite them in to be polite. the officer begins with, "do you know anyone who was taking pictures behind RMH or a pump station yesterday?" i said, yeah me and a buddy were taking pictures of our cars near RMH yesterday. i asked why. apparently, RMH security cameras caught me and jay taking pictures of our cars at the loading dock and thought we were actually trying to take pictures of the building. coincidentally, someone else in town was taking pictures of pump stations. the HBPD equated this to terrorist activity and thought we were up to something. long story short, they understood we meant no harm, cleared our names up and left. they never asked anything about any accident i witnessed :lol:
so apparently jay and i have been living alternate lives as MM terrorists, and we aren't very good at it.

those are awesome pics scotty, i wish i had a tri-pod and full skill of the camera, lol.
I was shocked when the po-po's decided to show up at the door and ask some questions. I agree on the turbans, same place, different time, same cars, same cameras, with turbans and full outfit...we might get arrested then we can file a suit
and make some money.
