When Keeping it Real Goes Wrong (Video) - G.Irish - 02-12-2005 This guy was doing the 2003 Isle of Man TT. Coming around this corner he could entered a little bit slower or smoother and made it through fine. He possibly could have gone faster if he had better technique. But instead, he decided to keep it real. This is not a direct link, left click on it http://www.compfused.com/directlink/575/ The rider did not get killed in this crash but he probably ended up in a body cast and thus, did not get a body massage that night. - PDenbigh - 02-12-2005 That's one of those videos that leaves you silent for a minute or two.... - Feersty - 02-12-2005 Yeah saw this already, its pretty brutal. - ScottyB - 02-12-2005 how the hell did he survive that? - G.Irish - 02-12-2005 Had he hit wall instead of hay bale he probably would not have. The Isle of Man TT needs to look into SAFER barriers or something though. Also, it looks like he stood up off the bike like he was gonna jump off or something right before he hit the hay bales hock:You guys are gonna flip when you see Shinya Nakano's tire blow out at 190+ mph...I just have to get my Moto GP 2004 Year in Review DVD. - G.Irish - 02-12-2005 Oh yeah, apparently the dude nicked the wall in the corner which upset the bike. - Ginger - 02-12-2005 Oh. My guess had been that he had gone into a bad tankslapper and was trying to get away from it (when we saw him sitting up) because he knew he couldn't do a roll-on save... I guess I wasn't so far off. Poor motorcycle racer, lets all feel sorry for him
