2006 Civic Spy Shot - G.Irish - 02-09-2005

Supposedly this is the 2006 Civic Si at the Chicago Auto Show. The official unveiling is tomorrow. The engine is rumored to be a 200 hp K-series. Notice the TSX styling cues.

wow, looks a billion times better already. its about time they upped the power too.....bc the 160 horse K20 was getting raped in the sport compact segment.

i love much of the honda design philosophy, but if it isn't lighter, faster, and retains the likeness of a bloated seabass....they are in for a ruder awakening.

Don't know yet. The 7th gen Civics were ES and EP so who knows what this one will be. I guess it'll start with an E?

Yeah, Honda screwed up big time with the last Si, and the 7th gen Civic in general. The 7th gen Civic wasn't bad per se, its just that it took a step back in sportiness. This didn't hurt sales too much because the Civic has tremendous momentum but it definitely didn't resonate with the sports minded customer the way the 6th gen did.

Looks like a Scion TC
I really dont like the black hood, dark headlights, or chevy cobalt wing. But if they fixed boy racer crap I think it would be a solid looking car.
