Parent Fundraising - Chris - 02-09-2005
We have been attempting a new idea for some time now, and I would like to get this process moving along. We would like to ask for your parents names and addresses to help with club fundraising. This is a totally optional fundraiser, we just feel parents may like to contribute to a club their son/daughter is actually involved in (rather than to the University directly).
If you would like us to mail a friendly letter to your parents/guardians about helping the club with donations, please PM me or IM (JMUsol82) their first and last name and address. This is a way we feel your parents/guardians can directly help you out as a member. Club alumni are also very willing to assit us in fundraising matching, to continue the success we have had in MM.

Don't stop at parents, try any relatives you feel comfortable with asking to donate to the bestest club at JMU!

Also, what would that amount to in a dollar amount?
For $2006 dollar challenge we'll need $2006 of course but what about storage, tools/equipment, service, spares, R & D, etc.?
Karting, how many events and how much will that cost?
Car show budget?
The garage space will be $90/month correct? So 12 x 90, or maybe only 9 x 90 (school months) or even 5 x 90 (winter months)?

the trick would be to find a place that would allow that to happen. i'm sure it can be done though
anyone contact darren drury? with the nascar gone he *might* have a little extra space? it was a jmu owned storage place though, so he may not be able to lend it out.

because it is rented by his department. it isn't like an official jmu storage place... but i like your thinking, i know they do have jmu storage around town.
