What's the best $/seat time deal you've had? - BLINGMW - 01-26-2005 silly question, I'm bored. Just curious if annyone can beat the $50, 3 man, 3 hour enduro karting event I'm going to in Charlotte in a few weeks. That's 83 cents a minute if I can actually last an hour (I pray that's not a solid hour!!). Certianly tops a driver's school at around $2.5/min (not including fuel, wear, damage) or an autocross at around $8/min FREE events don't count. Whatchu got? - ScottyB - 01-26-2005 karting, no contest. and that was for just a half an hour - .RJ - 01-26-2005 Hey chan did you get more details on this? How many more teams do they need? - BLINGMW - 01-26-2005 dunno. Call 'em up and see if they're full yet! Event starts sunday around 2PM I think. - .RJ - 01-26-2005 call who up? the kart track? - Dragon - 01-26-2005 Well my best deal so far would be the night we closed up shop and all stuck around for 2 hours karting. I probably pulled about an hour and half total time if you count the quick breaks for water, switching from the 5.5 HP, to the 6.5HP, to the 9.0HP, then to the 13HP. Total cost $0.00 - Mike - 01-26-2005 reading owns matt. - G.Irish - 01-26-2005 Well there was this one time in vegas where I got an hour+ lap dance for $100... - Feersty - 01-26-2005 I went a few laps VIR full course going 140+ down the backstraights in this: ![]() Cost: $0.00 - JohnC - 01-26-2005 That last autocross at Cloverleaf mall was a lot of driving and not much money. I probably got at least 15 runs (including practice in the morning), 45-ish seconds apiece (maybe, I don't remember and can't find the results). So thats 15 minutes total, for $25. Less than $2/min - not bad for *real* seat time (as in a full-size car rather than a kart). - JohnC - 01-26-2005 Feersty Wrote:I went a few laps VIR full course going 140+ down the backstraights in this: Cost: $0.00 Guess we need to change the topic title to read: "What's the best $/seat time deal you've had,and YOU HAVE TO HAVE BEEN DRIVING?" - Mike - 01-26-2005 AND IT CANNOT BE FREE - Mike - 01-26-2005 i'd have to say renting g-force with mm. - Dragon - 01-26-2005 MichaelJComputer Wrote:AND IT CANNOT BE FREEHey I can't help it if I haven't had to pay for any of my seat time in just over 2 years. - Mike - 01-26-2005 can i touch your wang? that makes me hot, really. - Dragon - 01-26-2005 Oh billy. - navin - 01-26-2005 be at Allsports tonite Matt, I think myself and a few friends might be up there around 6 - Feersty - 01-26-2005 I got about 8 autocross runs for $15 at Verona Governmental center. - Mike - 01-26-2005 there ya go rob, now that'd be your best deal that wasn't free. - ButtDyno - 01-28-2005 mongooze Wrote:That last autocross at Cloverleaf mall was a lot of driving and not much money.
