Trip to tech - damnit458 - 01-23-2005 I was just wondering if any of you guys ever head up to Vtech? Im trying to get up there to see someone sometime in the future, before springbreak, and was wondering if I could catch a ride with one of you gusy if you were ever going up for the weekend. Just wondering, thanks. - G.Irish - 01-23-2005 Booty road trip!!! - bassmangrammy - 01-23-2005 G.Irish Wrote:Booty road trip!!! I think the better phrase is "down to Tech." - damnit458 - 01-23-2005 G.Irish Wrote:Booty road trip!!! quiet you  - Maengelito - 01-23-2005 BassmanGrammy Wrote:G.Irish Wrote:Booty road trip!!! look out g, he's trying to lure you in to his secret hideout Re: Trip to tech - CaptainHenreh - 01-24-2005 Feersty Wrote:I think the better phrase is "down to Tech." Tech is up-river. The Shenandoah is one of about 30 rivers that flow south to north. Re: Trip to tech - Evan - 01-24-2005 CaptainHenreh Wrote:Tech is up-river.so are you rafting there or something? - CaptainHenreh - 01-24-2005 I was defending his use of "Up to Tech." I've heard more than a few people say they were going "up to Lexington" and "Down to Winchester." That's all.

Nope, 31 at most recent count. (The nile being the longest) And since Tech is in the New River Valley, that's even more reason to say Up to Tech. I know this because as an alumi of Radford, we always had to go over to B'burg in order to hit up those dollar pitchers at the Hokie House. If you all go, stop in at a place called Sharkey's. It has the best wings on the planet (in my opinion of course). Wednesday and Sunday nights are Wing night there, 7.95 for all you can eat wings, pizza, salad, and a dessert thingy. - ScottyB - 01-24-2005 Jewels Wrote:If you all go, stop in at a place called Sharkey's. Obviously you couldn't go to Tech in a raft anyway considering the water is flowing the opposite direction that you want to go. - Chris - 01-24-2005 Feersty Wrote:Yeah I know the Shenandoah flows North but, I think 'down to Tech' is what should be used since you are driving.
