Road trip anyone - mpg9999 - 01-23-2005 hock:
- Ryan T - 01-23-2005 Do you know where that is? - .RJ - 01-23-2005 Italy
- Mike - 01-23-2005 that is.... like.... stupid.... ly.... awesome.... - ScottyB - 01-23-2005 i can't imagine any population of people living in a place like that being anything less than expert drivers from birth. i don't care if that was 20 miles out of my way, i'd take that on the way home from work every single day if i could. - bluhayz - 01-23-2005 Haha, that looks like so much fun.... we need one of those here - Feersty - 01-23-2005 Ahhhh...my homeland. - Mike - 01-23-2005 Feersty Wrote:Ahhhh...my homeland. :?: were you born there? - Myuki - 01-23-2005 sweeeeeeeeet - BLINGMW - 01-23-2005 ha! 8) That's badass. Got a larger version of it? That's destined for the desktop... - Ginger - 01-23-2005 That's sexy. Just freaking sexy. - bassmangrammy - 01-23-2005 Did you die and take that picture from heaven? I think that's what my heaven is going to look like. - .RJ - 01-24-2005 There was a 911 GT3RS vs. 360 Stradale story in Evo magazine with some wonderful photography of that road ![]() and that is why r&t, c&d, etc all suck ass...... - Feersty - 01-24-2005 Where in Italy is that anyways? - Myuki - 01-24-2005 Feersty Wrote:Where in Italy is that anyways?looks like it's coming away from the Switzerland in the Alps and heading down toward the flatter areas - Mike - 01-24-2005 Feersty Wrote:Where in Italy is that anyways? the mountains. - ScottyB - 01-24-2005 Mike, you're such a liar. .RJ Wrote:and that is why r&t, c&d, etc all suck ass...... if people didnt have to take out a loan to afford a subsciption to Car, Top Gear, or Evo, our domestic magazines would be practically dominated. i wouldn't even wipe my butt with half the car mags on the racks as it is. if i buy a magazine nowadays, i want awesome photography (like above) and a gripping story. ill buy consumer reports for simple reviews. - ViPER1313 - 01-24-2005 I'm a Car and Driver man myself - the archive at the Carrier library has become my best friend. They have many publications dating back 15 years or more. I just scanned an article for my friend back home on the 1989 Eagle Talon TSI AWD (it's in my gallary if you want to look - I love reading road tests on older cars.) - ScottyB - 01-25-2005 ViPER1313 Wrote:I love reading road tests on older cars. ha i do too. its always fun to look at the concept cars from decade old car magazines, then see which ones became reality. when i worked at the library last semester, id often sneak off to the C&D and R&T shelves in the archives of the library and just soak up old issues for half hours at a time. there's some great stuff in those archives for sure. - Mike - 01-25-2005 <---- read pretty much every old car mag in carrier for a paper. some very cool stuff in there. i think i've said it before, but it is well worth the trip if you've got nothing better to do than play some playstation or rub your testes. |
