Fender Rolling Tool - PDenbigh - 01-18-2005 Two related questions: 1. Does anyone have a fender rolling tool I could borrow? And I'm not talking about a baseball bat, I mean the real tool that attaches to your hub with lug nuts and extends to the fender. 2. If 1.=no, Who here is interested in rolling their fenders? I can rent one with a little bit of trouble from guys I don't know on various forums, and we could have a fender rolling party.... Any interest? - BLINGMW - 01-18-2005 I could prob get the bimmerworld guys to send theirs to you for a few days assuming they haven't destroyed or lost it. Only for use on cars with motors though. - PDenbigh - 01-18-2005 Lol, Ok Channing. I'll swallow my pride for a couple of hours if it means gaining access to the tool ;-). Seriously though? Think you could work that out? Let's give it a day or so in case anyone local has one. If not, we can explore that option. Thanks man! - BLINGMW - 01-18-2005 ok, just holler if you want me to ask 'em. oh, and be careful on this forum using "swallow" and "tool" in the same sentance.... :| - Nick325is - 01-18-2005 I am definitly interested in the fender rolling tool as i don't really care for the job the baseball bat did. Nick - mpg9999 - 01-18-2005 http://www.eastwood.com/jump.jsp?itemID ... =63&KICKER 250 bucks, not THAT bad I guess. Maybe charge people a few bucks to use it. Could be worth the investment. I have heard you should practice on a junk car before you do it for real. No this has me thinking about running 225's, dangit. - .RJ - 01-18-2005 Whenever y'all are done w/ it, I need one! - PDenbigh - 01-26-2005 If I were to buy a fender roller, who here would be interested in renting it for $40 to MM folks? I'm finding that most charge $50-$75, and there's all sorts of red tape. If I can find 4-5 people that can commit, I will probably just buy one. If there aren't enough people, no biggie, I'll figure something out ;-) (bat...) Thanks, Peter - .RJ - 01-26-2005 Hmmm... - navin - 01-26-2005 wide-body mx-5?
- Dave - 01-26-2005 navin Wrote:wide-body mx-5?woo woooooo I'll probably eventually use it Pete, although I can't really make any guarantees at this very moment (would need slightly wider tires to necessitate this). - Mike - 01-26-2005 dave you need boost before you need bigger tires. "we will be the source of us being poor." - Evan - 01-26-2005 personally I would do it in the summer, on a hot day, in the sun, with a heat gun and a couple hairdryers. or you may find yourself buying a paintgun too.... - Nick325is - 01-26-2005 I would be interested in renting it. nick - white_2kgt - 01-26-2005 Evan Wrote:or you may find yourself buying a paintgun too.... bah, he's already got one! --chad - PDenbigh - 02-02-2005 Alirght MM, I ordered the fender rolling tool. Lets get some use out of this thang. I'll bring it to the meeting tonight :-). - Nick325is - 02-02-2005 Excellent I can't make the meeting though due to a group meeting for class I will definitly be up for borrowing it at some point.Nick - .RJ - 02-02-2005 Pete, bring that bitch to VIR... I'll ship it back when i'm done. - PDenbigh - 02-02-2005 Will Do! - Andy - 10-17-2007 Back from the dead. Hey Pete, can I rent your fender roller? I also need someone to show me how to use the thing (RJ). |
