MY first drift event "FIRST SLIDE OF 05" - BLAIR - 01-17-2005

last sat at VMP "first slide of 05" put on by US Drift and Lookout Drift. this was my first drift event i have participated in, being that i have only had the car about 2 months and its my first rwd car.. but im addicted.. it was awesome. got close to 30 runs in.. learned alot over the day

theres a nice little sequence in there... it was a nice 50 mph left hand then right hand bigggg sweeper some high speed driftin

What was the entry fee? How often are they going to be doing these? Were they doing tandem drifting too or was that just camera trickery at work?

yea..actually i worked at autothority for a few years.. they shut down and joined up with pitstops... kinda not really just the guys from there work there now. yea i know min he is an awesome guy. the homegrown car might have been a silver audi wagon.. thats my best friends car who works there. his name is jeff... what were you doing at pitstop??? what car do you have?

entry fee was 125 bucks... 75 if you pre registered.. it sucks.. drifting is expensive. not to mention you go threw at least one set of tires int he rear. but it was well worth it.. id say i got between 20 and 30 runs in. they have these every few months. more in the summer. they tandem drift all the time.. you have to have a cage and a drivers suit to do it.. they had 4 cars doing it at one a few times.. it was pretty cool

Entry fee is probably high because they can't count on numbers. I doubt it'll get strong numbers for a long time because of the tire cost and the niche nature but you never know.
