For those of you with Nissans.... - JohnC - 12-27-2004 I picked up an nProbe last week. It's basically a laptop/PDA based replacement for Nissan's Consult system. Let's you view/change all ECU sensor readings, perform diagnostic tests on all vehicle subsystems, and view/log everything in realtime (including injector duty cycles). Pretty snazzy little package - should eliminate a lot of my diagnosis time with future issues, and will help me monitor the overall health of the car. Anyhow, anyone who wants to use it is welcome to bring their car over to my place and we'll hook it up. Here's a list of compatible cars:
And basically anything else with a Consult port should work (to some degree)... - .RJ - 12-27-2004 Heh, John i want to use your nProbe.... - Feersty - 12-27-2004 When can I get Probed? - KPWSerpiente - 12-27-2004 Sweet, I've had a 2nd gen DSM specific system that does the exact same thing for years now. The information provided by a good datalogger will be invaluable to you. -T - CaptainHenreh - 12-28-2004 That has got to be the coolest fucking thing since DSMLink. - bluhayz - 12-28-2004 Ummn... I totally want to check that out :-) I'll have to hit you up for some time when I can come over that should be real cool to see. - mpg9999 - 12-30-2004 I have a Techtom MDM-100 for my SE-R. It will also pretty much work on any nissan with a consult port. Unlike the nprobe, it doesnt data log. It does have a peak recall function. The thing thats nice about it is that I dont need a palm pilot, I just have it mounted in my car. Anyone is also welcome to use mine if they need to. I live in NOVA. -Mike |
