Engine Support - ViPER1313 - 10-29-2004

Does anyone have a generic engine support for dropping a transmission that I could borrow in the upcoming future?? My pressure plate and throw-out bearing arenÔÇÖt liking each other much at this point, and I foresee something blowing up before long. Also, any help dropping the trans would be a large help (Never done this before, but pretty confident and set on doing it myself at this point).

I've got one... I used it for exactly what you're planning.

The job's a bitch. But it's got to be done.

I'd offer my garage, but as there are now 5 non-operational vehicles on my property, and two leaking oil like fiends, I really need to get some of these cars moving before we can clear up any garage space.

Right now I'm shooting to do this over winter break - getting all the parts is the key here (or should I say the money for those parts). Im going to drive the SHO home to Frederick this weekend and use the GL for the remainder of the semester (taking the bus all this week, the TOB took a turn for the worse Sun night Cry - the whine is back and it's almost impossible to shift into first). Thanks for all your help guys.
