99 F250 super duty - HAULN-SS - 05-17-2020
Might as well post here too...
The good: 7.3 powerstoke diesel, 190k miles, 4x4 short bed super cab. Upgraded transmission cooler to the 6.0 cooler which is larger. 2 owner, previous owner was my dad's shop. Mostly highway miles, used to tow a camper about 10 times. Runs good, full records available. New rust free doors and tailgate recently put on the truck. New master cylinder and front brakes, recent rear brakes and differential cover. Newly replaced rear seat. Tekonsha trailer brake controller. XLT trim
The bad: paint is in faded condition but has sticker burn in on the otherwise rust free bed. The hubs need to be replaced on the front, 4x4 works but the hub locks are stiff, so I leave it in manual instead of auto mode. AC vents stuck in defrost mode.
The ugly: cab corners are starting to rust. Carpet inside has started to wear out. sticker burn in on bed, see pics. Normal wear and tear with a few small dings here and there.

Fixed the AC vent-stuck problem with anew vacuum pulse modulator. Recharged the AC, and it's been blowing cold ever since. Won't claim ultimate victory in it, but its been pretty nice having AC for the first time in 5 years. Drove it down to a camp site and back last weekend, 400 miles round trip, no problems.
