Rossi takes the Rider's Championship once again - G.Irish - 10-19-2004

Welp Rossi did it all while winning the last race of the season and he became the first man to ever win back to back championships on different machinery (I think). More later.

For next season Yamaha has signed former 2 time World Superbike champion Colin Edwards to be Rossi's teammate. I think this duo will be able to take the manufacturer's title from Honda next year. I think HRC has gotten arrogant because of their own success and now they're going to pay for it. Furthermore Colin now has something to prove since HRC didn't give him the resources that he deserved after winning 2 championships for them in WSBK.

Next season for Honda Gibernau is a lock but its hard to say who the number 2 Honda rider will be. Nicky Hayden had a terrible season but Biaggi did pretty well. Makoto Tamada is the only rider on Bridgestones to have won a race last year and of course Honda would love to have a Japanese rider. He also really gets his lean on...

Anyway, time for silly season Tongue
