Madison SportsSports - The Sports Threads - Senor_Taylor - 03-17-2020

Forgive me if there is already a thread for this, but I haven't found it.

TB12 leaving the Patriots has me officially hoping the Covid-19 comes and takes me away.

Tom is taking social distancing to a new extreme.

He's done. I have zero faith he can play in any system besides the Patriots. Maybe he will prove me wrong.

I don't get why these guys can't retire on their pile of money and move on.

I wish him the best and hope he doesn't tarnish his legacy, but I'm more interested in seeing how the Pats move forward. They had to have some kind of contingency plan, right? Wish we could have moved on with Jimmy G.

Brady was just filling in until Bledsoe was feeling better anyway. IT'S DREWTIME!

because that pile can always grow taller as long as they don't care about legacy or otherwise have some sort of vengeance (ie: what Brett Farve did).

Brady doesn't play for money. The guy's wife is loaded. He plays because he is insane and has something to prove.

I hope Brady and the Pats become irrelevant.

ego.  once you've been at the top that long, no other view will do.  i don't get it either.  i mean i do, but if i was in those shoes, i'd hope i'd have some reasonability.

I'm guessing we've never loved a job as much as these guys love theirs. It's part of who you and in the case of Brady, it's been 80% of his life for two decades. They aren't looked forward to retirement the way we are - I'm guessing most fear it. They're all football all the time and many have never experienced life without it.
