Cancelled until further notice due to to COVID, we will try and push this event back and still have it later in the year. Thanks for understanding everyone.
Our annual karting event will be at GForce Karts in Richmond, VA.
We will rent out the entire track from 10am-12pm, and have a 2-hour enduro race during that time.
We will make teams of 2-3 people depending on the attendance.
March 21st
This year is different as GForce has now moved to an outdoor track at Richmond International Raceway. It should be a ton of fun with a wider track and apparently all super karts. We can all go downtown into Richmond afterwards for lunch.
We will get a roll call going on this thread to know who is coming, that way we can make the teams! Please post below if you are planning on coming, and pay in advance so we can get everything set up.
If you need a ride, we will be carpooling down from JMU! Plan to meet in the C4 lot at 7:30 on the 21st. We'll leave a little before 8am to get to the track with time to set up.
Please arrive by 9:30 if you are not carpooling with us!
Close-toed shoes, and long pants required. You're welcome to bring your own helmet, but they have free rentals to use as well.

Their Facebook page looks like they are open. Also they have an off road course with UTVs... Why was that not an option?!

Yes this event will be postponed until things calm down with COVID.
Also we’re looking into doing the off-road course as well. We can go over pricing for that when things open back up, as it looks really fun.
