1999 BMW M3 - Scott - 05-29-2019 In a move I'll probably regret, it is time to move my 1999 M3 on. I bought it in December of 2017 and have only put about 2k on it during that time. Between a 1 year old, changing jobs, moving, race cars, etc I haven't had the time to enjoy it as much as I hope. On the plus side, it's sale of this will help fund a detached garage at the new house. It currently has 141k on the odometer. It has had a ton of maintenance as well as some upgrades done over the past couple of years with the majority of the "E36 things" sorted. The one interior issue is that the liner for the sunroof has detached, but is black underneath so it's hardly noticeable. To be completely transparent, the not so good. The Carfax has a "total loss" listed in 2013, 20k miles ago. I've communicated back and forth with Carfax over the last year to get an understanding of what happened with little response as the car does not show any signs except the LF fender is a DOT-R replacement. Underneath everything is straight and the even the radiator support is OEM and shows no sign of ever being removed. Autocheck does not show any previous damage history. $14k obo Maintenance/Cosmetic in past 3 years: New Steering Wheel New Front Calipers New Front Control Arms + bushings New Tie Rods New Shifter Bushings New Trans Mount + selector Pin + Pilot Bushing + Slave Cylinder + TOB New Driveshaft CSB New Guibo New Enge mounts New Valve Cover Gasket New O2 Sensors New Heater Blower Relay New Glove Box Latch New Radiator Tank New Water pump + Alu Thermo Housing New Belts/Tensioners/Idler Pulleys + Hoses New Thermostat New Fuel Filter New Cabin Air Filter New Wiper Blades New Emblems front and rear + Wheel center caps New Door handle gaskets New Fender Wells New Rear seat belt guides, headliner and rear window weather strips New Cowl Cover New L+R Door Weather strips New Radiator Cover New Window Regulators and Motors + switches New Driver Seat electric Tilt gear New A/C evaporator core 4/2018 New Z3M Radiator New Expansion tank New Radiator hoses New Continental Tires New Alternator Modifications: PFC 2-piece front rotors Brass Caliper Guides Z-Rated PFC Pads + EBC rear rotors Bilsteins Sport Shocks + Swift springs HD Shocks Mounts + F+R shock reinforcement plates 96+ Flipped Top hats RTAB Bushings Poly UUC Evo 3 Short Shifter + bushing refresh Centerfore Clutch + Aluminum Flywheel Crown Coated Brake Lines Lower Front air duct panel Carbon Front Spoiler Injen Air Intake JVC radio Depot HId Angel Eye Headlights Tinted Windows Turner Front Sway Bar UUC Exhaust Depo Front and Rear Euro corner/taillights + coded out in OBC ![]() More: https://www.flickr.com/photos/dkiserphotography/sets/72157706551699221/ I purchased the car from DJ in 12/17. If someone is seriously interested and ready to pull the trigger, we can have a serious talk about the selling price. 1999 BMW M3 - Senor_Taylor - 05-29-2019 I'm ready to pull the trigger. $1000 Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk RE: 1999 BMW M3 - Gordonovski - 05-29-2019 Joey's M3 just appreciated out of my budget 1999 BMW M3 - Sully - 05-29-2019 This is to me what the Forester was to Justin... But wasn't yours a pile of shit from the start? RE: 1999 BMW M3 - davej - 05-29-2019 Gah that's such a good looking car, but an e36 would mess up my garage pattern. 02, skip e21, e30, skip e36. Looks like I'm required to buy an e46 now. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk RE: 1999 BMW M3 - SlimKlim - 05-29-2019 It's not "much nicer" mine has a comparable list of parts/maintenance with a clean title. This has nicer paint, but my hood actually lines up properly. RE: 1999 BMW M3 - D_Eclipse9916 - 05-29-2019 This is a great driver's example. Low maintenance, high fun! 1999 BMW M3 - Sully - 05-29-2019 I think my bank would give me funny looks if I tried to get a loan on a 20 year old car lol Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk RE: 1999 BMW M3 - Scott - 05-30-2019 (05-29-2019, 03:30 PM)Sully Wrote: I think my bank would give me funny looks if I tried to get a loan on a 20 year old car lol Quick and easy: https://www.lightstream.com/ RE: 1999 BMW M3 - Scott - 07-10-2019 After being "sold" several times to out of state buyers who all flaked and never saw the car, it's on Ebay: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F192962212827 Price is very negotiable for someone serious and ready to move on it. Or sold "sold" I have a sizable, non-refundable cash deposit, a signed bill of sale, and I am meeting them at their credit union (they are financing) with the car to sign over the title in person (to the credit union, must be done in person) and leave the car there.
